We are pleased to have Dr. Lauren Lendzion provide coverage for our Magnolia physicians when they are away for vacations and sabbaticals in the coming years.

Dr. Lauren Lendzion, MD, FAAP is a board-certified pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics who values family-centered care and evidence based medicine. Her lifelong passion for working with children was further enhanced during her time as an AmeriCorps teacher in Waipahu, Hawaii, where she developed a deep appreciation for collaborating with families to achieve positive outcomes. She attended Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine in Michigan before completing her pediatric internship and residency at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland. During her medical training, research played a pivotal role in her development. She studied growth vs. fixed mindsets in medical students, conducted research on positive parenting strategies in Santiago, Chile, through the Doris Duke International Clinical Research Fellowship, and received additional clinical research training at UCSF Mission Bay’s Clinical and Translational Science Institute. Her research training has strengthened her ability to critically review literature and guide families using the highest-quality evidence. With experience in both primary care and urgent care settings, she is skilled in managing a wide range of pediatric conditions, from newborn care to adolescent health, acute illnesses, and injury management. She currently also works at UCSF/GoHealth Urgent Care. A strong advocate for preventative care, Dr. Lendzion values open communication, shared decision-making, and empowering parents with the knowledge they need to confidently care for their children. She considers it a genuine privilege to be a trusted partner in your family’s health journey.
