
Ashley Hugh, MD, FAAP
Dr. Ashley Hugh is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She graduated with the highest honors from the University of California Irvine with a Bachelor's of Science degree. She received her medical degree from Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. She was eager to return to California and completed her pediatric residency at the University of California Irvine-Children’s Hospital of Orange County (UCI-CHOC).
She has a special interest in mental health and emphasizes the importance of early intervention and support for children and adolescents. With a compassionate and holistic approach developed from her experiences as a Crisis Text Line counselor, she works closely with families to prioritize emotional well-being and resilience. She cherishes her role as a proponent of health promotion and illness prevention, finding fulfillment in counseling families on topics such as nutrition and early childhood development.
In her spare time, she enjoys trying out new recipes and watching "Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown." She also enjoys trying new restaurants, exploring the various hiking trails of Marin and having relaxing picnics in the park.
